Floor Frame Construction

Finding a stable, flat surface to mount the frame boards onto is the challenge here.  My most recent experience was on a concrete garage slab that had major cracks running between the frame boards.  I found that depending on the time of year (how saturated the ground was) I could be out of plane by over half an inch.  The boards you use must be flat and straight since their surfaces will be used as datum points during the wing panel construction as well as the rigging process.
